Where to Live as a Kyoritsu Women's University Student (Kanda-Hitotsubashi Campus)

Kyoritsu Women's University's Kanda-Hitotsubashi Campus is about a 1-minute walk from Jinbocho Station. Here are the 15 cheapest stations within roughly 30 minutes* of it, sorted by studio rent. Balancing rent and commute time is the key to a comfortable first apartment in Tokyo — start your search from this list.

Where do students actually live?

Since a 2007 reorganization, Kyoritsu Women's University has been consolidated entirely into the single Kanda-Hitotsubashi campus, where all students study for the full four years. The real favorite is Jimbocho Station itself, a one-minute walk away, set in a culturally rich area surrounded by used-bookstores and the greenery around the Imperial Palace. Kudanshita Station, five minutes away, and Suidobashi Station, ten minutes away, are also popular choices.

The ranking below centers on cheap, far-out stations toward the older downtown districts along the Toden Arakawa Line, the Nippori-Toneri Liner, and Keisei lines, and it doesn't overlap at all with the real favorites of Jimbocho, Kudanshita, and Suidobashi. Jimbocho Station goes unnoticed in the rent data despite being just a one-minute walk from campus, so it's best to start with the three stations within a 10-minute walk instead.
